What to Have Ready
A few details before you dial mean the call does more than say hello — the contractor you're connected with can start giving you a real answer instead of asking you to call back with the same information.
- Rough square footage of the room or zone you're heating or cooling — a tape measure and a guess are both fine.
- Your electrical panel's amperage if you know it, usually printed inside the panel door — it affects what a system can draw.
- Whether the home already has ductwork, or has never had a forced-air system.
- A photo or two of where an outdoor unit could sit — an exterior wall, a pad, or wherever the existing line set runs.
What Happens on the Call
You describe what's going on — a repair, a system that's aging out, a room that's never been comfortable — and answer a few of the questions above if you have them handy. We route your call to an independent, licensed contractor in our network who serves your area and works on ductless equipment, and connect you directly. From there, scheduling and everything else is between you and them. See the full breakdown →
What We Will — and Won't — Ask For
We'll ask what's wrong with your system or what you're trying to do, roughly where you're located, and the best number to reach you on. That's what a contractor needs in order to help you.
We will not ask for payment, a deposit, or your card number — nobody on this call takes payment, and no one at DuctlessFix ever will. If someone claiming to be us asks you for money, it isn't us.
Why There's No Form
This site has no contact form, no quote request and no online scheduler — that's a deliberate choice, not a missing feature. Every request goes straight to a person on the phone instead of into a queue. If you'd rather write than call, email works too.
